A unique wine tour in Bordeaux : a journey of discovery in the heart of wine cultures

On the permanent exhibition, you will discover an immersive and sensory adventure to discover the different civilisations of wine in the world.

The exhibition takes place in a 3,000 m² space, to explore the many and varied facets of wine across time and space. To accompany you during the tour, you will have a free audio guide : a very innovative tool available in eight languages and the access to La Cité du Vin’s Belvedere, where you will discover a 360° view of Bordeaux whilst tasting a glass of wine of your choice.

While approaching the monument itself, you will be mesmerized by the architecture and design which is unique. During the tour, many activities for kids and families are available and you will discover worldwide wines, not only Bordeaux. To complete your experience, a belvedere is opened at the top of the building and will give you one of the best views of Bordeaux. A gastronomic restaurant with panoramic view is also in the building : different menus are proposed at lunchtime and dinnertime. Local and international gourmet food are served with the best wines of course !
