An historic estate, which once belonged to one of Louis XVI’s squires, Chateau Pinet La Roquette is situated 7 km from Blaye, on a small hill with a fine view of the vineyards.
In 2001 when Valérie and Stéphane Nativel took over the running of this 9 hectare plot, they began to welcome visitors all year round, sharing their passion for vines and wine, and embraced sustainable agriculture.
In the course of your visit you will discover the typical north-Gironde wine storehouse consisting of one part dedicated to vinification, another reserved for ageing in barrels and a third for labelling and stocking bottles and… for tasting some of the wines produced at Château Pinet La Roquette (AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Clairet, Crémant de Bordeaux).
Free visits all year long. Open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. By appointment at weekends.
