Take a tour to the heart of the estate, and discover the sublime winegrowing expertise
Marie-Laure Lurton is a self-proclaimed creator of wines!
Against the harmonious, contemporary backdrop provided by Chateau Tour de Bessan, Marie-Laure is not lacking in sources of "natural" inspiration, both literally and figuratively, since the vines here are cultivated sustainably.
Cultivated by dedicated team, this historic terroir cuts across three localities in the Margaux appellation: Soussans, Arsac, and Cantenac.
Although all that remains of the 13th century tower fortress that once stood here are a few ruins (and the chateau's name), the property is imbued with the history of the men and women who have, over the course of many centuries, worked the vines.
Today, although Marie-Laure and her dedicated team welcome visitors to a dynamic, architecturally modern complex, the property's illustrious history and traditions have by no means been erased.
On tours of the chateau, visitors learn more about the complex expertise required to produce the estate's remarkable wines.
