4 km southern Loupiac, the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont village stands on a rocky spur overhanging the Garonne River. It is on this terroir known for its sweet wines where stands Château du Mont, owned by the same family since the end of the 19th century. Nowdays Hervé CHouvac and his wife Claire farm 25 hectares of vines harvested only by hand.
In this beautiful building with visible stones, Claire and Hervé welcome you to come to see them with your family. A playground is at the disposal of your children while you will have an initiation to the wine mysteries ! Walk between the wine ranks where a suprise is waiting for you : the soil contains oysters shells !
