Château Pas de l'Ane

On the hill of a thousand châteaux, just a stone's throw from prestigious neighbours, between Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac, lies Château Pas de l'Âne.

Since its creation in 1999 from a parcel of 1 hectare, Château Pas de l'Ane has continued to develop. In 2006, Vignobles Pas de l'Ane took up residence in the former Château Cros-Figeac, also known as Château Cros-Saint-Emilion (Féret Edition 1998). It is surrounded by prestigious neighbours such as Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac. The 13-hectare vineyard is spread over 5 of the 8 communes that make up the Saint Emilion appellation. This dispersal of plots encourages a diversity of terroirs (gravelly sand, ferruginous sand, clay-limestone, etc.), making it possible to produce five Saint Emilion Grand Cru wines.
