Sous l’impulsion de pauline et Philippe Chandon-Moët, la propriété reprend des couleurs
Respecting history doesn't mean making it a museum: on the contrary, it means bringing it to life!
Since 2010, Château de Ferrand has undergone major renovation work. The vineyard has been restructured and replanted following an in-depth ampelological study of the soils and an adaptation of the grape varieties to the terroir.
Cultivation methods were rethought. The vineyard buildings were redesigned. The cellars were modernised, and the number of vats increased and adapted to enable parcel-based management.
The terroir is promising, and the wine is gaining in quality.
And in 2012, the family's commitment bore fruit: Ferrand became a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé.
