The plots of Château Cardinal Villemaurine are spread over 3 production blocks, a few kilometres apart and all in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. These blocks enable us to produce wines from 3 different types of soil: clay, limestone and sandy-clay.
The wines of Château Cardinal Villemaurine are made from a classic blend. Merlot, the king grape variety in Saint-Emilion, brings roundness, fruitiness and fullness to our wines. Cabernet Franc adds finesse and structure.
